Daniela Cervantes is the Administrative Assistant for Nika Levando Birman, Chief of Staff, and Erika Poethig, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Planning. In this role, she helps support the development and execution of the strategic priorities and operations of the Civic Committee.

Before working for the Civic Committee and moving to Chicago, Daniela was an Executive Assistant for the Office of the President at Butler University. She moved into higher education after serving as Operations Manager at a tech non-profit, TechPoint.

Daniela has a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Spanish from Butler University and is an Orr Fellowship alum. Originally a Hoosier, Daniela enjoys spending her time ticking off her “Movies to Watch” list, traveling, being outdoors with nature, and visiting her friends and family.
