Carrie is the Director of Membership and Events at the Civic Committee. In this role, her work focuses on the development of program ideas, management, and oversight of the Commercial Club’s operations including programs, events, and committees. She manages the membership process for both the Commercial Club and Civic Committee.

Before joining the Civic Committee, Carrie worked for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs for eighteen years. She progressed through several roles at the organization, most recently as the Director of Signature Events & Scheduling. During her time at the Council, she provided strategic event counsel and organized high-profile convenings that empowered people to deepen their understanding of the world’s most critical issues.

Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri, as well as a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification. In her free time, Carrie enjoys playing tennis, studying interior design, and exploring Chicago’s fantastic lakefront.
