Jonathan Gair is the Senior Director, Information Technology of the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago. In this role, Jonathan leads technology strategy for the Civic Committee and supports technology needs across all affiliate organizations.

Before joining the Civic Committee, Jonathan was Managing Director of IT for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where he was responsible for the Council’s technology environment, including oversight of IT project planning, applications, infrastructure, and support vendors. Prior to joining the Council, Jonathan was Vice President of Operations for SDI Presence LLC, a Chicago-based IT consulting firm specializing in enterprise applications and managed services for public sector clients. He led the firm’s advisory practice, supporting state, county, and municipal clients in planning IT strategic assessments, ERP, cybersecurity, and workforce management solutions.

He is certified in ITIL for promoting IT service management best practices and graduated summa cum laude from Miami University with a BA in Political Science.
