
Michaela McGill
Michaela McGill serves as the Director of the Hiring Initiative at the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago where she leads the strategy and implementation of the organization’s work to increase local hiring on Chicago’s South and West Sides. Before joining the Civic Committee, Michaela spent six years at Salesforce managing workforce development and product education programs. As the lead on employer partnerships for Salesforce’s Pathfinder Training Program, Michaela was responsible for placing hundreds of program graduates into roles across the Salesforce ecosystem.
Michaela previously served as the Director of Workforce and Corporate Partnerships at One Million Degrees, a local Chicago nonprofit supporting community college students. At One Million Degrees she oversaw volunteer and alumni programs in addition to the organization’s first apprenticeship and workforce programs.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication at American University and her MBA at University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
